The 2019 Special Olympics Ontario Invitational Youth Games will play host to over 2,500 athletes and coaches from around the world. We are very happy to support the games through the Healthy Athletes (HA) initiative. Healthy Athletes is a health screening and education program designed for people with Intellectual Disabilities. HA Screenings are offered in seven disciplines and are administered by volunteer health care providers.
Annually, the staff and I volunteer our services to perform vision screening and supply the necessary vision aids and glasses to the athletes who are competing. This is part of the Opening Eyes program that offers free prescription eyewear, sunglasses, and sports goggles to the participants. Click here for more information on the Opening Eyes discipline of Healthy Athletes. We are CLOSED May 15th & 16th In order to provide these vision screening services to the students participating in Special Olympics Ontario Invitational Youth Games we will be closing the store on Wednesday, May 15th and Thursday, May 16th. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. If you have any questions, feel free to call us 905-751-0196 www.insighteyeworks.ca |
